Setting up this website was great fun and hugely satisfying. The concept was to identify, describe, map and photograph the best birdwatching habitat in southwest and south-central Nebraska as a tourism development tool. My client/partners and I set the site up as a series of narrative adventures that would lead visitors from one habitat to another along a series of “trails”. Interactive maps, a database of local birds, features, and specific advice helped birders from all around the world enjoy the exceptional variety of species Nebraska has to offer.
